This course introduces students to the fundamentals of web technology and interactive media for web design, with a focus on industry requirements.

3. IT7521 Information Systems
   

 

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of information systems, including business concepts, development life cycles, data modelling and supporting organisational processes and systems. It also includes decision making and relevant professional communication skills.

4. IT7514 Software Development Fundamentals
   

 

This course introduces fundamental components of software development and programming.

5. IT7536 Event-driven Programming
   




This course prepares students in the basics of software development, development problem-solving skills in C#, and the syntax of the C# programming language. Ranging from basic arithmetic to ‘if’ statements and loops, this course covers the foundations of C# coding using Windows Forms, and introduces Object-Oriented Programming using .NET and C#.

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to interpret and develop client-side and server-side web-based applications utilising contemporary software development and web standards.

This course equips students with knowledge and skills of business analysis to perform requirements analysis and customise a secure and accessible web solution.

This course introduces students to client-side development to create responsive web solutions.

This course allows students to develop knowledge and skills in application security principles as well as server-side scripting.

This course allows students to gain knowledge about abstract data types and the skills to implement those using fundamental data structures. They will also be able to implement algorithmic solutions to common problems.
